This little button sits quietly on your desk, powered by the USB port it illuminates (as gentle reminder for you to press it).
When nature calls, or you want to go make a cuppa, simply click the ecobutton and your computer will switch to an eco mode which will run your monitor and hard drives on a measly 1.
8 watts of power, far less than your regular computer standby mode.
Once you’ve woken the computer up again with the touch of any button, the Eco Button software will show you exactly how much CO2 you’ve saved, as well as how much money you’ve shaved off your leccy bill.
It keeps a tally too so that you can see how much money you’ve saved since installing the button.
